I have decided to change my blog. But since I'm not sure how to change the URL, I just want everyone to remember the name change from Deadwood Diaries to Driftwood Diaries . Or not, that's cool too :)
So, I officially arrived on the tallship Hawaiian Chieftain yesterday morning. I have the coolest job in the world! I work with kids and teach them about history and the awesomeness that are tallships. Since I'm so new, I have a lot to learn about sailing, my specific job and this specific boat. I'll keep you all posted.
I was excited today though, because I not only did the schedule and called out the changes in classes (parts of my new job!) but ate good food, hung out with cool people, learned about sailing and climbed up in the rigging! For someone deathly afraid of heights, who had hoped to put that off for at least four days. I have to climb higher tomorrow, but that's ok. I hope.
Also, after a few months of answering phones, this moving all day thing has been different. My body is kind of aching, I'll be honest.
But, other than some aching muscles and a bit of brain-overload, I am having a blast.
