If You Give a Historian A Day Off...

...chances are that she will go to the museum. Today, the entire boat had the day off. We have been very short-staffed and this week there are no school groups. So, this week is crew training as well as a day off and Thanksgiving. So, today I went to the mall and walked around the plaza, drank a Venti Frappe from Starbucks (in November), and went to the California State Railroad Museum. This was most likely one of the coolest museums I have ever been too. Plus, it was about railroad history and had trains. Win.

    Guess what! I'm back. And I decided this is the sneekiest way to announce this to you. And I went to the National Museum in Dar es Salaam with a "What Would Bailey Do?" feeling. That's the capital of Tanzania.
